Facilitator checklist

  • Confirm the presenter GitHub account can access the demo repository.
  • Confirm the demo GitHub account is not the same account you use for private work.
  • Confirm GitHub Copilot is enabled for the demo account.
  • Confirm Codespaces or local workstation access, depending on your delivery path.
  • Confirm Power BI Desktop is installed if you will show MCP or DAX tests live.
  • Confirm no Fabric tenant is required for the core lab.
  • Confirm repository secret scanning and push protection are enabled if you will show repository settings.
  • Create a fresh branch for each live demo path.
  • Restore the starting checkpoint you plan to use.
  • Create or verify the pre-opened issue for cloud agent.
  • Create or verify the pre-opened pull request for review.
  • Save fallback artifacts for baseline run, after run, PR review, and hook denial.
  • Open Expected results and confirm the page renders.

Check the published checkpoint tags before a workshop:

Terminal window
pwsh ./scripts/lab/Test-CheckpointTags.ps1 -Fetch upstream

For a checkpoint you restore locally, run the lab checks listed in its verify field. For example, lab09-complete verifies Labs 07, 08, and 09:

Terminal window
pwsh ./scripts/lab/Restore-LabCheckpoint.ps1 -Checkpoint lab09-complete
pwsh ./scripts/lab/Test-LabProgress.ps1 -Lab 07
pwsh ./scripts/lab/Test-LabProgress.ps1 -Lab 08
pwsh ./scripts/lab/Test-LabProgress.ps1 -Lab 09

lab02-start has no checkpoint-specific lab checks.
